Xavier University's men's basketball team officially started fall practice on Tuesday, but one player was not in attendance.
Senior forward Zach Freemantle has been suspended from team activities indefinitely, Xavier head coach Sean Miller told The Enquirer.
No further information was provided.
Freemantle, who's played in 83 career games at Xavier and started in 57, averaged 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds last season.
Freemantle's one of Xavier's top returning players in terms of talent and experience, and the expectation was for him to be a key component of the Musketeers' rotation this season.
