Xavier's Trevon Bluiett Named To BIG EAST First Team And Edmond Sumner Named To All-Freshman Team

CINCINNATI – The BIG EAST Conference announced today that Xavier University sophomore Trevon Bluiett has been named to the 2015-16 All-BIG EAST First Team. In addition, teammate Edmond Sumner was a unanimous selection to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team. The conference's head coaches choose the all-conference teams and are not permitted to vote for their own players.

Bluiett leads the balanced Xavier attack at 15.2 ppg., which ranks ninth in the BIG EAST, and stands third on the team and 13th in the league in rebounding at 6.
