Xavier coach Chris Mack announced Thursday night that senior guard Myles Davis has been suspended indefinitely.
While Mack did not cite specific reasons, court documents show that Davis is facing a second criminal charge involving his former girlfriend, Kiley Stoll.
“Myles Davis is suspended indefinitely from all basketball related activities,” Mack said. “Playing basketball for Xavier is a privilege and we have high expectations for how our student-athletes represent our university. Unless Myles meets those expectations he will not be a part of our program.”
Basketball practice starts in early October. Until then, the Musketeers have a mix of individual instruction and team workouts.
