It was an up and down season for Xavier basketball. Here's a look back and a look ahead to what's coming in 2019-2020 Adam Baum, abaum@enquirer.com
Xavier University announced Friday that it has agreed to a contract extension with men's basketball head coach Travis Steele that will keep him on Victory Parkway through the 2023-2024 season.
Steele, who spent 10 seasons at Xavier as an assistant coach and took over as head coach for Chris Mack in March last year, got the extra year added onto his deal after going 19-16 in his first season and finishing tied for third in the Big East Conference in what can best be described as a transition year.
