CINCINNATI – Xavier baseball stays local for its next match-up, traveling to Northern Kentucky to face the Norse on Wednesday, March 4. The Musketeers (3-7) face the Norse (0-12) at 2:00 p.m. at the Bill Aker Baseball Complex.
Xavier is coming off a 1-2 weekend at College of Charleston, picking up the win on Saturday, 2-1, but falling on Friday and Sunday.
- Xavier is 35-19-1 against NKU all-time after winning last season's lone match-up, 5-2, at Hayden Field.
- Last season, NKU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but Xavier tied it with a solo home run to lead off the third, then took the lead on a Matt Warkentin grand slam later in the inning to go ahead 5-1.
