CINCINNATI – The Xavier Musketeers never trailed on the way to a 65-55 win over Cincinnati in the 2015-16 Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout in front of a Cintas Center-record crowd of 10,617 on Saturday. Myles Davis scored a season-high 17 points to lead the Musketeers as they moved to 10-0 on the season, matching the 1996-96 team for best start in school history.
Davis' game-high 17 points came on 70 percent shooting from the floor, including going 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Edmond Sumner also finished in double figures. Remy Abell and James Farr added nine each, with Farr going a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor.
