Xavier's men's basketball team is going to get a good look at its depth on Tuesday night against Fairfield.
Junior Colby Jones, a preseason first-team All-Big East selection, will not play against the Stags due to a sprained ankle.
Jones, who's averaging 13.5 points and 7.0 assists through two games, has the injured foot in a walking boot.
It will be a revealing test to see how Xavier adapts without one of its most important players. Guys like Adam Kunkel, Jerome Hunter, Kam Craft and KyKy Tandy will need to step up on the wing, and Souley Boum and Desmond Claude need to do a great job guarding the ball from their point guard position.
