The Xavier University athletic department on Wednesday announced the hire of Kacey White, who will serve as head coach of the Musketeers women's soccer program.
White, whose hiring was announced in a Wednesday news release, brings with her to Cincinnati an array of coaching experiences. She is a product of the storied University of North Carolina women's soccer program. There, she was an NCAA national champion (2003) and a two-time All-American (2004, 2005).
From 2006 to 2010, White was capped 17 times by the U.S. women's national team. She served as an alternate for the national team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
