The new year brings Xavier University's men's basketball team the opportunity to get back on the right track after back-to-back losses in Big East Conference action.
The Musketeers (8-2, 1-2 Big East) welcome St. John's (6-4, 1-3 Big East) on Wednesday night at Cintas Center in a game where Xavier needs to rediscover its rhythm offensively, which is not an easy task against a high-pressure Red Storm team that will utilize full-court pressure for the entire game.
"They're gonna be relentless for 40 minutes," Xavier Head Coach Travis Steele said on Tuesday during his pregame press conference.
