Xavier head coach Travis Steele's post-game press conference after a 70-52 loss at Marquette on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019 Adam Baum, abaum@enquirer.com
Since a road win at DePaul to open Big East Conference play, it's been tough sledding for the Xavier Musketeers in their last two Big East battles.
A two-game losing streak never sits well in conference play, so expect Xavier to be eager for Wednesday night's return to Cintas Center (6:30 p.m., FS1) against a Georgetown (11-4, 1-1), a team coming off an overtime loss to St. John's on Saturday.
In its last two games, losses to Seton Hall and Marquette, Xavier hasn't played consistent basketball.
