Losses are usually the price of admission in a college basketball season, especially in November.
Tuesday night in front of packed-in Cintas Center crowd, Xavier took one on the chin, 77-68, against a more-experienced Wisconsin team, snapping the Musketeers' 41-game non-conference home win streak behind a star-studded performance from All-American senior Ethan Happ, who finished with a game-high 30 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
"I think you always take lessons out of everything whether it's wins or losses you gotta learn," said Xavier head coach Travis Steele after his first loss as a head coach.
