Xavier's basketball team added another record to its collection Sunday when it earned a program-best No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament and a Friday date with 15th-seeded Weber State at the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis.
As is customary, players and coaches watched the CBS Selection Show together and returned to Cintas Center for press conferences.
“It’s amazing. It’s a great feeling,” junior guard Myles Davis said. “I’m proud of our guys for what we did in the regular season and for being able to make history at Xavier. The thing is, we’re not done. We’re happy we’re a two-seed but it didn’t really matter where we were seeded.
