Less than three months ago at Big East men's basketball media day at Madison Square Garden, the hot topic was two-time defending regular-season champion and preseason favorite Villanova.
Media members strolled by Xavier's table to ask questions about the Musketeers, but also the Wildcats. Specifically, what would it take to beat them?
"Once you turn the ball over, they're going to score. They have a lot of talented guys on their team and their coach in Jay Wright. It's all about confidence against them. When you believe, you want it more. That's a good group over there," senior James Farr said.
