The succinctness of Xavier head coach Chris Mack's postgame one-liner after beating the Georgetown University Hoyas fit the moment perfectly.
"Damn, it feels good to win," Mack said, grinning.
Mack typically gives a minutes-long opening statement in his postgame remarks, but considering Sunday's win was the team's first in four tries, he probably couldn't have conveyed his relief any better than that. So, he didn't try and quickly opened his presser to questions.
The No. 22 Musketeers (14-5, 4-3 Big East) put their three-game losing streak in the rearview mirror with an 86-75 win over Georgetown (10-10, 1-6 Big East).
