The Xavier Musketeers did it again.
In front of a sold-out crowd Sunday in the Cintas Center, Xavier overcame its second halftime deficit of the week and held on to beat No. 25 Marquette 80-76.
No. 12 Xavier has won 11 games in a row and the Musketeers are 7-0 in the Big East Conference in sole possession of first place.
Souley Boum scored nine of his 16 points in the final three minutes and the Musketeers went 6-for-6 at the foul line in the final 28 seconds to secure the win.
Boum hit a big 3-pointer that gave the Musketeers a 71-68 lead.
