As Xavier continues a $25 million, seven-year face-lift of Cintas Center, the latest fruits of those labors include a new state-of-the-art strength and conditioning facility designed for Musketeers athletic teams.
Just this week the 5,000-square foot space was completed. The area is twice the size of the former weight room and boasts cutting edge equipment and technology to give athletes options for improving their skills.
The men’s basketball team already has started to use the area, which has among other things two stepmills, four Concept2 pieces, five treadmills, eight VersaClimbers, eight exercise bikes and 20,000 pounds of weights with custom Xavier logos.
