Musketeers knock off Miami (OH) to take title
OXFORD, OH - Xavier won the Joe Nuxhall Classic in convincing fashion Tuesday night, routing Miami (OH) 17-2. Xavier earned the right to play for the title after beating Cincinnati last week, and met the Redhawks after they beat Wright State.
In what would set the table for the game to come, Jerry Huntzinger led off the game with a home run and Xavier never looked back.
