Xavier guard Quentin Goodin talks about his new head coach, Travis Steele, and his dedication to the program. Sam Greene/The Enquirer
Travis Steele capped off his first week on the job as Xavier men's basketball head coach with two commitments on the graduate transfer market, possibly ending the program's pursuit of additional depth for the 2018-19 season.
Any perceived personnel hits Xavier took in the wake of Chris Mack's departure for Louisville were more than compensated for by Sunday as Steele and his staff claimed Columbia guard Kyle Castlin.
Castlin's pledge came just days following the commitment of prized Division II big, Zach Hankins.
