CINCINNATI – Xavier baseball returns to Hayden Field on Tuesday, hosting crosstown rival Cincinnati in a 3 p.m. midweek contest.
The Musketeers (16-31, 5-10 BIG EAST) dropped two of three at Butler over the weekend and will now play five of their last eight at home.
Cincinnati enters the day at 24-21 overall with a 10-8 record in the AAC.
Xavier is coming off its second straight BIG EAST Championship, beginning a new era with first year head coach Billy O'Conner after finishing the 2017 season with a 34-27 record and a trip to the NCAA Tournament Louisville Regional Final.
