CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics is excited to announce the new Cintas Center student section name, The Holy Land, beginning with the upcoming 2017-18 basketball season.
Xavier Athletics and Kingsgate Transportation, the presenting sponsor of the student section, launched a campaign to name the student section at Cintas Center last fall. While all students are known as "X-Treme Fans", the student section at Cintas Center lacked a locational name. The timing and reveal of "The Holy Land" coincide with the numerous completed renovations in the arena, including new bench seating in the student section.
Xavier undergraduate students were encouraged to submit names for the student section during the fall 2016 semester.
