Megan Christopher, the daughter of Xavier athletic director Greg Christopher, is among three freshmen coach Brian Neal has added to the Musketeers' women's basketball roster for 2016-17. She's joined by Ashley Gomez and Na’Teshia Owens.
Christopher helped Turpin High to a 36-11 record in her final two seasons. The 5-foot-8 forward averaged 11 points, four rebounds and four assists as a senior.
Christopher, a two-time all-conference and academic all-conference selection, also played soccer and lacrosse.
“Megan is a tough competitor and hard-working player,” Neal said. “She can play multiple positions and provides much-needed depth at the forward position.
