CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis moved to 10-2 on the season with an eighth-straight win, beating Northern Kentucky, 6-1, at Five Seasons Sports Club on Friday evening.
"Today we came out strong against Northern Kentucky and got the doubles point right off the bat," said Xavier freshman Hunter Roper. "I think that gave us the confidence we needed to move on to singles everyone where everyone came out ready to take care of business. It's an amazing feeling to be apart of a team that not only works hard but also feels like family. I think our results have really shown the time and energy we have been putting in, and I am so excited to see how we do throughout the rest of this season.
