CAYCE, S.C. - Xavier women's tennis fell, 4-3, to DePaul on Monday afternoon in the Championship round of the BIG EAST Women's Tennis Championships. The Musketeers' winning-streak has come to an end at 20 straight, which set a school record. The Musketeers also tied a school record 22 wins on the season, which was last done in 2003-04.
The Musketeers started out with a 6-2 victory in the No. 1 doubles spot from Ahmeir Kyle and Emily Thomas. The Blue Demons then came back and won the next two doubles matchups to secure the doubles point.
