CINCINNATI – Xavier women's tennis returned to action on Sunday in home matches against Mississippi State and Dayton. The Musketeers fell in their first match against Mississippi State, 5-2. In their second match, the Musketeers defeated Dayton, 6-1.
Xavier began doubles play with a loss in the No. 1 spot as Ahmeir Kyle and Emily Thomas fell, 6-3. Mississippi State secured the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Anna Letto and Kaitlin Ruether, 6-3. In the No. 2 spot, Emma Antonaki and Alexandra Mikhailuk defeated Rachael Reichenbach and Anna Roggenburk, 6-3.
