CINCINNATI - The Xavier women's tennis team will compete in the Purdue Invitational Sept. 28-30 for their second tournament of the fall season. Teams competing include Ball State, Miami (OH), Western Kentucky, Lipscomb, Wright State, Northern Illinois and Purdue. Events will take place at the Schwartz Tennis Center in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Xavier will look to use their last outing as momentum going into the weekend. The women collected 11 wins at the Greater Cincinnati Invite two weeks ago, as each of Xavier's four competitors went 2-1 in singles play. The Musketeers also added three total doubles wins.
