WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – After three days of competition at Purdue, Xavier women's tennis collected four flight championships, including three singles flights and the Gold Doubles Draw championships. Kaitlin Ruether posted a 7-0 mark on the weekend, winning both her singles and doubles flights.
In the first day of competition at the Purdue Invite, Xavier collected (nine) wins, including 3-0 marks for Ruether and Lauren Fitz-Randolph who combined to go 2-0 in the Gold doubles flight to advance to the championships, and both picked up wins in their opening singles match.
On day two, the Musketeers went 12-1 overall, including a 4-0 mark in doubles play and 8-1 in singles action.
