There was a noticeable change in Travis Steele's voice Tuesday when he took the pre-game podium in advance of Wednesday's test against Green Bay.
Steele was asked his assessment of his team after eight games, on the verge of the ninth, and in his response, he said the word "better" five times.
Even with his team at 7-1, Steele said, "I don't like where we're at."
When the arena had cleared out Wednesday night, following an 84-71 win, Steele returned to the media room for his post-game press conference and his assessment of his team remained the same.
