Walsh Jesuit sophomore Ryan Piech has made a commitment to continue his academic and baseball careers at the Xavier University.
Piech is a right-handed pitcher who was unable to play as a freshman when the season was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“I am very fortunate to have been offered an opportunity to play baseball at Xavier University,” Piech said in a statement. “The school, team and coaching staff are a great fit and I am looking forward to the future. Walsh Jesuit has played a large part in developing me as a student and athlete.
