CINCINNATI – The Xavier volleyball team is teaming up with Go4theGoal this season to "Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer" to raise awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. The team will be sporting gold laces in their home opener match against Creighton on Friday, Sept. 30.
"Our team is excited to raise money for a cause that not only assists local children, but raises awareness for a disease that affects many families in our area," said head coach Christy Pfeffenberger. "Our hope is that our fans will assist us in raising money, while watching what should be a great matchup against Creighton in our home opener.
