PROVIDENCE, RI - Xavier claimed a four-set victory over Providence on Friday night to move into a tie for fourth place in the BIG EAST standings. Four Musketeers set new season-high's in Xavier's 25-19, 21-25, 25-18, 25-14 win.
Following a travel day on Saturday, the road warriors will face off against conference-leading Creighton in Omaha, Nebraska.
• MaryAnn O'Toole recorded a new career-high 16 kills and 16 points at a .279 clip. The freshman also added two assists and 13 digs to help Xavier clinch the victory.
