It's been dubbed "The Crosstown Collaborative."
Two days before the annual Crosstown Shootout, players from Cincinnati – David DeJulius and Jeremiah Davenport – and from Xavier – Paul Scruggs and Zach Freemantle – conducted a joint press conference Thursday morning to announce the new endeavor.
The collaboration between both programs will give players the opportunity to engage with their respective fan bases through various events on an annual basis.
Three events will be featured.
The first event is Sunday, the day after the Shootout. It's a free youth basketball camp for local non-profit youth groups at Fifth Third Arena and the Cintas Center.
