Cheese coneys and drinks flowed at the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout VIP event Tuesday night in Downtown.
Fans, media and personalities from around Greater Cincinnati sports gathered to hear from Xavier University men's basketball head coach Chris Mack and University of Cincinnati men's basketball head coach Mick Cronin at the Skyline location at 254 E. Fourth St.
The event was held as a build-up event for Thursday's Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout at Fifth Third Arena (7 p.m.).
The two coaches shook hands upon entering the packed restaurant, appeared to briefly exchange pleasantries and then took to an elevated stage where they fielded some general questions about this year's Shootout.
