Tyrique Jones took to Instagram this afternoon to announce that he is entering the NBA Draft without an agent.
What this means is that Tyrique is now free to go through the entire process of the draft as if he were going to be drafted. He can take workouts with teams, participate in the combine, and, at least hypothetically, focus on taking the next step in his career. What this doesn’t necessarily mean is that Tyrique is gone next year. Under the current CBA, college players can retain their eligibility if they withdraw their name from the draft by ten days after the NBA Draft Combine.
