Former Xavier University basketball standout Trevon Bluiett scored a career-high 29 points in 27 minutes off the bench for the Westchester Knicks in their NBA G-League win Wednesday night against the South Bay Lakers.
The 24-year-old Bluiett shot 10-of-16 from the field - including 5-of-11 from 3-point range - with four rebounds, two assists and two steals to help the Knicks to their franchise-record seventh consecutive win.
Late last week, Bluiett had 18 points off the bench to help his Knicks to a 110-99 win against former XU teammate J.P. Macura and the Greensboro Swarm.
