Travis Steele adds third assistant to 2018-19 Xavier coaching staff in former Musketeer Dante Jackson

Xavier men's basketball head coach Travis Steele appeared to put the finishing touches on his coaching staff with the Wednesday announcement of for Musketeers Dante Jackson's hire to fill an assistant coaching role.

Jackson comes to Xavier as Steele's third assistant coach hire, joining Jonas Hayes and Ben Johnson at the front of the Musketeers bench.

Jackson's previous coaching stops included Northern Kentucky (2015-16), Air Force (2016-17), Robert Morris (2017-18) and a brief stint at Kent State following this past season.

Jackson holds two degrees from Xavier and, during his playing career, won 107, appeared in the NCAA Tournament in all four of his season at XU and totaled 795 points, 374 rebounds, and 255 assists.
