CINCINNATI - Xavier standouts Samantha Dewey (women's soccer) and Mikayla Fitzpatrick (golf) were tabbed the most outstanding performers in their respective sports by the Cincinnati Women's Sports Association (CWSA) on Saturday afternoon. The annual awards banquet was hosted in the Champions Club at the newly renovated Fifth Third Arena on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.
Senior volleyball player McKena Estes was also named the 'Inspirational Sportswoman of the Year' for her community service. The Indianapolis, Ind., native wrapped up her career last fall with 2,118 assists, 642 digs and 68 aces.
