CINCINNATI - After falling behind 1-0 in the first half, four unanswered goals, including three second-half tallies, helped Xavier women's soccer pick up a 4-1 win over Lipscomb on Sunday afternoon at Corcoran Field. Xavier moves to 5-2-1 on the season.
After nearly 30 scoreless minutes, the Bison struck first, taking a 1-0 lead after finding the rebound off the crossbar. Xavier responded less than five minutes later, with a goal from in front of the net for , from , to send the match in to the half tied 1-1.
Xavier took the lead 10 minutes into the second half on a penalty kick from and never relinquished it.
