At the Xavier University men's basketball team's pregame press conference ahead of Wednesday's visit from Seton Hall, forward Naji Marshall spoke about the importance of playing a full 40 minutes.
The Musketeers looked well on their way to doing that until the Pirates hijacked the final 10 minutes and escaped Cintas Center with an 80-70 win.
After the game, Xavier was understandably frustrated.
The Musketeers felt like they helped beat themselves and let a coveted conference win slip right through their fingers.
"We let one slip away, that's how frustrated I am," said Xavier guard Paul Scruggs, who was a bright spot with a team-high 22 points.
