Xavier University's Cintas Center, for all intents and purposes, is a construction site. That's exactly how Xavier Athletic Director Greg Christopher wants it – for now.
As part of the university's seven-year, $25 million renovation of Cintas Center, the athletic department this summer will knock out what could end up being the busiest summerlong renovation cycle the arena is scheduled to undergo.
As a result, some hallways are currently lighted with construction lamps, floors are caked with dust and the arena's principle tenants – men's and women's basketball, and volleyball – have been displaced from certain areas of the building.
