PINEHURST, N.C. – The Xavier men's golf team concluded the second round of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in North Carolina. Three musketeers are in the top 10 heading into the final round tomorrow morning.
Sophomore Jose Montaño is alone in first place. The Bolivia native fired a second round 70(-1), which puts him at 141 (-1) for the tournament. Montaño is tied for the team lead with six birdies.
Freshman Daniel Wetterich is alone in second place. The Cincinnati native shot a 72 (+1) in the second round, which puts him at even par for the tournament.
