NEW YORK - Senior Sofia Peterson was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after posting a conference-best .542 hitting percentage last week. The Musketeers went 1-1 as they moved to 9-10 (3-3 BIG EAST) on the year.
The right side hitter totaled a team-high 30 kills last week, averaging 3.75 kills per set. She also added eight digs and four blocks.
In the three-set loss at Marquette on Oct. 5, Peterson posted 13 kills with a .550 attack percentage. She followed that performance by matching her career high in kills with 17 in a five-set win at Butler on Oct.
