The Oklahoma City Thunder has included former Xavier star Semaj Christon on its regular-season roster as NBA teams cut rosters to 15 players.
“It was a grind,” Christon said Monday. “I knew eventually my time was gonna come where I'd get a shot to play.
“Once I did get a shot, I think I proved myself.”
Thunder coach Billy Donovan noticed Christon had made “significant strides” from when he first met him in 2015. That was before Christon averaged 7.0 points and 2.4 assists in 18.6 minutes for the Thunder this preseason.
