It may have taken about 30 minutes Wednesday night for Xavier to put it together at both ends of the floor, but once they did, it was enough to fly by the Ohio Bobcats, 82-61, for a fourth straight Musketeer win.
Paul Scruggs took a close game and turned it into a beat down. Scruggs was the best player on the floor with a game-high 21 points, five rebounds and eight assists.
When it was announced in the post-game press conference that the eight assists were a career-high, Naji Marshall murmured "unbelievable" under his breath into the microphone as the room laughed.
