In the second meeting this season against DePaul on Saturday (2 p.m., Fox Sports 1), Xavier's men's basketball team wants the same result as the first meeting – a win – but would like to take a more convincing path to get there.
When they met two weeks ago, No. 21 Xavier (16-5, 6-4 Big East) didn't play well and was lucky to escape with a 68-67 win.
DePaul (10-10, 1-9) led for more than 35 minutes in the first game and the Musketeers led for only a little more than two minutes.
The Blue Demons were more physical than Xavier – that has to change on Saturday – and it led to 16 offensive rebounds and 12 second-chance points.
