Xavier University's men's basketball team has secured another major non-conference game for the upcoming 2022-23 season, according to a report Monday from CBS Sports Insider Jon Rothstein.
The Musketeers will host Indiana in the Gavitt Tipoff Games, an annual event that features the Big East Conference against the Big Ten Conference.
Xavier hosted Ohio State last season in the Gavitt Games and beat the Buckeyes.
The addition of Indiana gives Xavier another high-major opponent on its non-conference schedule, one that already includes West Virginia in the Big East-Big 12 Battle, Cincinnati in the Crosstown Shootout, and the PK85 Invitational multi-team event in Portland, Oregon, against a field that includes Gonzaga, Duke, Florida, Oregon State, Portland State, Purdue and West Virginia.
