Xavier men's basketball star guard Trevon Bluiett is facing a drug charge following his Monday arrest in Hamilton County, Indiana, according to a report from the Indy Star.
Bluiett, an Indianapolis native and former high school standout at Park Tudor School, was charged Monday with one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana following his Monday afternoon arrest in Carmel, Indiana, according to the report.
Xavier University athletic department officials and Musketeers head coach Chris Mack did not immediately respond to The Enquirer's Monday request for comment.
Bluiett on March 31 declared for the NBA Draft but said he wouldn't hire an agent, leaving open the possibility of a return to Xavier for what would be his senior season next fall.
