With associate head coach Jonas Hayes accepting the head coaching job at Georgia State, new Xavier men's basketball coach Sean Miller had some work to do filling his coaching staff.
One of those spots has been filled with a carry-over from Travis Steele's staff.
Dante Jackson, who played at Xavier under Miller and Chris Mack, and spent the last four seasons as an assistant under Steele, will remain at Xavier on Miller's staff, according to a Thursday report from Stadium's Jeff Goodman.
It's a move that makes sense. Jackson has strong relationships with the players currently on Xavier's roster.
