Former Xavier University standout Jordan Crawford is returning to the New Orleans Pelicans, according to a report via Twitter from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 29-year-old Crawford was waived after playing two games for the Pelicans in October. In 19 games for New Orleans last season, Crawford averaged 14.1 points and 3 assists per game.
He was a starter for the Celtics before he was traded to the Warriors and played earlier in his career for the Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks.
Crawford was a first-round pick by New Jersey in the 2010 NBA Draft after playing one season at Xavier, averaging 20.
