Report: Former Xavier great David West named COO of Historical Basketball League

The Historical Basketball League, which will debut in 2020 and will be the first college basketball league to "compensate and educate its players based on their market value," has named two-time NBA Champion and Xavier University Hall of Famer David West as its Chief Operating Officer, according to a report from ESPN's Marc Spears.

West retired in late August after 15 NBA seasons.
