CINCINNATI - Rachel Butler has qualified for the NCAA Track and Field East Prelims in the 10,000-meter run as announced by the NCAA on Thursday. The meet is being hosted by Indiana University on May 25-28 in Bloomington, Ind.
The Dublin, Ohio native will participate in the national semifinals for the 10,000-meter run on Thursday, May 26 at 9:10 p.m. at the Haugh Track and Field. The event serves as one of two national semifinals (east and west regionals) as there is no preliminary race for the 10,000-meter run.
Butler currently ranks 27th in the east region and 70th nationally in the event, posting a school-record time of 34:07.
